I'm leaving NYC in exactly 4 weeks!

So I got free tickets to the Global Citizen Concert and took my sis, it was AMAZING. I mainly came to see the Black Keys and Foo Fighters, and neither one of them disappointed the crowd. The cherry on the cake was that this was the last scheduled FF show for a while. I've always been a big fan but in the past year have seen them live, 3 times and have become a fan for life!!!

I had a nice run on Thursday before the weekend of the concert and just seeing all the signs and blockades made me super excited for the show. It made me so happy to have this amazing event just outside my front door!

I found it!!!!

 

I love Tina Fey. Do you know who I love more than Tina Fey? Liz Lemon, the ridiculous character she writes and plays on 30 Rock. And if Liz where a real person she would be my Upper West Side Neighbor at 160 Riverside Dr.

Frankenweenie!!!

 

I snagged 2 tickets to a free screening of Frankenweenie in 3D that Kasia and I attended happily! The movie is great and just what I needed to get me into the Halloween spirit!

 

 

 

They gave us fancy GREEN 3D glasses branded with the movie. And in the movie I thought I hear Bean's voice from KROQ's Kevin & Bean show, so I tweeted him and he got back to me! hahah

Moma PS1 Warmup

 

"MoMA PS1 presents Warm Up 2012, beginning July 7 and taking place every Saturday this summer through September 8. Now celebrating its 15th year, the museum's highly anticipated outdoor series will continue its tradition of introducing audiences to the best in experimental live music, sound, performance, and DJs. The annual series is held in MoMA PS1's courtyard, which this year will feature a temporary urban landscape by HWKN called Wendy, the winning design of MoMA PS1's 13th annual Young Architects Program. M. Wells will be cooking in the courtyard all summer long."

Monica and I hit up The Offspring/Neon Trees show at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ a few weeks ago for their outdoor summer series. I really just wanted to check out the venue since its sort of famous and seeing The Offspring wasn't a bad deal either.

Fantasy Football

Last year I joined Melissa A's all girl fantasy football league called "Girls Rule Boys Drool" and didn't really pay attention. This year I want to watch more games and try to get into it. So far so good.

Melissa and her boyfriend Matt got tickets to the USC vs Syracuse preseason game and so of course I went. The USC Traveling Marching band held a rally in Times Square on Friday at noon which was amazing and full of fans! And the game was Saturday. Melissa follows a super fan on twitter so we crashed his Tailgate Party through a Twitter invite. All we had to do was bring some Fireball Whiskey, which is incredible! Joy and I left after half time since there was a crazy Tornado warning and the weather was BAD. So fun!
