Saturday, March 7th was the 23rd Annual Hoboken St. Patrick's Day Parade and I cannot even begin to tell you what utter mayhem it was. The parade goes down Washington Ave which is lined with bars, restaurants and shops and is super cute. The parade starts at 1pm, but people get in to the area around 10am, as the bars get ridiculously crowded, and eventually lines form where people wait forever to get in. It's basically a booze fest, with a parade! Ah, heaven!
Anyways, Sharon (my roomie) and I got in around 1p, watched the parade, got some delicious Greek food for lunch, where the restaurant was BYOB, so we downed a 6pack between the two of us and than met up with my friend Andy Bak to join his house party hopping gang.

We ended up hanging out until around 9pm when we decided we were exhausted and headed home. The PATH train takes you in and out of the city and felt like a sardine can full of drunks. Interesting.....
The best part of the day was when some random (but cute) boy at a party kept calling me 'amazing'. I love it!
I can't wait till next year!
PS- Last week in an effort to save money I dyed my own hair (killed the evil black roots) with some professional products I got from my stylist back home (shout out to Nikki Hall- the most amazing person ever! and the whole Snipsters gang).
Check out how cute my hair turned out! It took about 45 minutes, 3 mirrors and lots of patience to apply, but was completely worth it! And saved me close to $80!
