Boston

This past weekend I had the pleasure of hanging out with some good friends in Boston. Konrad had mentioned a while ago that he was going to have a fun birthday weekend planned so I have been looking forward to this for a month or so now. I took the Bolt Bus out to Boston from the city at the amazing low price of $36 (round trip), and got some zzzzzzzz's in on the way, its a 4 hour drive. Awesome! Once I got there, the gang met up at Konrad's pad and we hit the town from there. We walked all over town, even getting a rather interesting, summed up version of the Freedom Trail by our un-colonially dressed tour guide Konrad, who pretty much lured us around town via Dunkin Donut Munchkins (ya, that's what they call them here). We had a great dinner in Little Italy, which if I may say so myself, is probably the bestest "Little Italy" district in the US, and than off to some more bars. In the morning we had a great boozy brunch on the waterfront and enjoyed the afternoon strolling around Boston Common (the big park in the middle), before heading home. It was a great weekend and I can't wait to head back out sometime this summer.
