The Naked Cowboy vows to run a transparent campaign as he prepares to toss his hat into the ring for mayor ofNew York City. Robert Burck, 38, has established a popular platform in Times Square as the Naked Cowboy. He does a brisk business posing for pictures with tourists, clad only in a cowboy hat, boots and white briefs with a guitar strapped to his bare chest. The Naked Cowboy says he will announce his campaign on Wednesday in Times Square. The aspiring candidate's chief rival is incumbent Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who is seeking a third term.
