There is an article in the September issue of W that I love. It talks about the evolution of women's shopping habits as we age. The picture is brilliant and says it all. We essentially start out buying hyper trend driven items at cheap prices, essentially quantity not quality. As we eventually mature, that flips and we begin to shop for more practical quality big ticket items. We might still be spending just as much, but aren't sorting through a closet where you can't fit a finger in. I just hope I get to this 'mature' stage fast.
