I got my hair done at the Aveda School in SOHO (http://avedainstituteny.com/) last week and as usual they did a great job. $45 for color and a blowout isn't bad! And since I'm on their excellent mailing list I got a great freebie while I was checking out. I'm not a big fan of Aveda products but there are two I'm willing to shell out the extra bucks for. The Hand Relief ($8 for 1.4 oz http://www.aveda.com/product/CATEGORY10691/PROD5908/Body/Moisturize/index.tmpl) hand lotion and the Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair ($24 http://www.aveda.com/templates/products/product_search.tmpl?KEYWORDS=repair) are lifesavers.
