Rudeness and the City

It's not that New Yorkers are pushy, its just that I really think people lack the common sense to stand aside when waiting or walking in a human wall down the sidewalk so no one can pass you. I believe Asia Zuk once said "My legs are my transportation, that's how we get around here. I don't take that lightly." So basically if I'm in a hurry don't shut me out, like don't mess with my car when you know I've got somewhere to be.

Therefore, I do feel slightly offended when people say New Yorkers are rude or whatnot. That's really not the case. It more about being a little assertive and people (maybe not necessarily from around here) not being such morons.

Is that so much to ask?
