Leon Levingstein's New York Photographs, 1950-1980
on display at the Met until 10/17/10
I came across this display of photos and couldn't resist due to the name alone.
Leon has quite a modern day style of photography that could fit in today with the residents of Williamsburg and the lower east side. I immediately thought of my friend Jake, who had quite a hard time finding his own vision of shooting NYC when he was out here not long ago. I hope these can inspire him a little bit.
