So I'm currently training for a half marathon next month and last night I ran my longest mileage yet. 6 miles! It felt good. As soon as I got onto the main path in Central Park I ran into my friend Asis who is training for the Philly Marathon and we ran together. I got to explore the northern most part of the park which is super hilly! Yet, no walking happened and after mile 3 it actually felt good to just keep going.
I got home and had a chance to ice and relax with some much deserved dinner and mindless tv.
Next up 8 miles this weekend!
