So I had 2 friends, Asia and Ryan, run the Staten Island Half Marathon as part of their preparation for doing full marathons later this fall. Since I told them I was going to cheer them on, and as a member of New York Road Runners, I figured it would be fun to volunteer for the race.
I spent the morning hanging out at Mile 8, cheering on the runners and enjoying a gorgeous day.

Both Ryan and Asia had amazing time.
Asia ran 13.1 in 2:10 and Ryan did an amazing job of 1:38.
My goal time is under 3:15!
